Digital Core Analysis of Capillary Pressure in Sandstone

This research aimed to obtain the petrophysical parameters of capillary pressure a sandstonefrom 3D modelling high-resolution rock images. By integrating number 2D slice results, plot capillarypressure vs water saturation was built. When performing digital simulations using 512 x pixels, theeffect on resulting image clearly seen interactive thresholding. The obtained porosity 29.5%while permeability through iteration as 3942 mD, quite large value since it is synthetic core.Meanwhile, at depth free level 984 ft, found be 167.36 psi with watersaturation 4%.
